Naturally rich in vitamins, it makes for a light dessert or a refreshing snack that combines pleasure and convenience.

This recipe combines a selection of fruits that are naturally rich in vitamin C with collagen powder, which blends in seamlessly without altering their taste or texture.

Why add collagen to a fruit salad?

Collagen powder is particularly versatile. It can be added to drinks as well as cold dishes such as fruit salad.

Fruits such as kiwi, strawberries, citrus fruits, and pineapple are naturally rich in vitamin C, a nutrient that contributes to normal collagen formation for the normal function of the skin, cartilage, bones, and blood vessels.

The result is a recipe that is as tasty as it is refreshing, perfect for a light snack.

Serves 2:

  • 1 serving of collagen powder (8 to 10 g)
  • 150 g strawberries
  • one kiwi
  • 1 orange
  • 100 g blueberries
  • 100 g of raspberries
  • Half a mango
  • A few fresh mint leaves
  • The juice of half a lime
  • 1 teaspoon of honey (optional)

Food tips

  • Add a few pomegranate seeds for a crunchy touch.
  • Sprinkle with flaked almonds or desiccated coconut to add extra texture.
  • A pinch of vanilla or cinnamon will bring out the best in the fruit without masking its natural flavour.
  • For an even more indulgent version, serve the salad with plain Greek yoghurt or fromage blanc.

The benefits of the main ingredients

Red berries

Strawberries, raspberries and blueberries are naturally rich in antioxidants and vitamin C. They also offer a wonderful range of flavours, combining sweetness with a hint of tartness.

The kiwi

The kiwi is one of the fruits richest in vitamin C. It adds a pleasant freshness and brings out the flavours of other fruits.

The orange

Naturally juicy, it adds a touch of sweetness and a good amount of vitamin C, whilst delicately flavouring the salad.

The mango

Mango has a melt-in-the-mouth texture and an exotic sweetness that perfectly balances the tartness of the red berries.

Collagen powder

Thanks to its neutral taste and good solubility, collagen blends easily into this recipe without altering the flavours of the fruit.
